This new Pro model of Virtualizer is capable of running both the channels independently. It also offers 71 latest effects which includes much improved reverberation capability. To make the editing process simple, each of the algorithm has only seven parameters which can be edited. There are about 100 user memories for storing patches apart from about 100 factory presets.

Surfacemount technology has been used to improve speed and reliability up manufacturing and quite unlike many other gadgets which make use of potentiometers as devices for inputs, the Virtualizer Pro makes use of five rotary encoders and a big encoder as entry wheel for data. The unit get’s its power through the mains IEC socket.

Verdict

The Virtualizer pro comes with a simple interface for users and is housed in a trendy box. Since the unit comes without any LCD display, it is really difficult to program anything by just making use of four character display. You won’t be able to remember about 80 user patches from their individual numbers alone.

Many users may complain about the lack of programmability in the unit, however the basic effects are very good so there is absolutely no great need to customize them.

The Virtualizer Pro is simple yet smart multi effect processor which can handle all common effects easily. It can also be used for dual channel mode; if you have any requirement of treating two separate aux sends at a time. If you desire some great quality Multi Effects at a bargain price, this is a great product for you.
